Veterinarian and Owner | Walk-in Veterinary Care

Dr Ramer grew up in the North but came to Florida to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian. Dr Ramer was a veterinary technician prior to coming to Florida. She completed her undergraduate studies at Florida State University in Tallahassee Florida. At FSU she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in marine biology.

Dr Ramer obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Ross University College of Veterinary Medicine in St Kitts and also attended Louisiana State University College of Veterinary Medicine to complete her vet clinical training.

After completing her studies to become a veterinarian, Dr Ramer became an associate veterinarian at a small animal hospital in Bradenton FL. In 2014, Dr Ramer moved to St Petersburg FL, and became an associate veterinarian at Gateway Animal here in St Pete.

It has always been a dream to open her own animal hospital. Dr Ramer decided to move the Apollo Beach and Ruskin area and open a unique veterinary hospital, Walk-In Veterinary Care. At this veterinary clinic, clients do not need to make an appointment to see the veterinarian. Simply, bring your pet during office hours, when it is necessary or convenient for you. Walk-In Veterinary Care is a full service animal hospital. This veterinary hospital has complete in hospital laboratory and the latest in digital radiology. These are essential diagnostic tools that can be completed at the hospital and in a timely manner.

Dr Ramer enjoys boating and beach sports. She is an avid sports fans and likes attending Buc football, Rays baseball and Lighting hockey games in the Tampa Bay area. Let’s not forget the FSU Seminoles.

While attending St Kitts School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr Ramer rescued a mix breed dog named, Henle, who accompanies her daily to work.
